There are over a billion Muslims in the world.
Yet out of the 39 majority Muslim countries and 30 large
minority Muslim countries, only Turkey has any semblance
of democracy! As if that is not obvious, lately the clamor
to declare Islamic law as the law of the land, in Nigeria,
Indonesia, Somalia, Iran, Pakistan, etc., demonstrates
something that no one wants to talk about. On the one
hand, many of the poorer countries of Africa are wanting
the Islamic law because it guarantees them petrol dollar
contributions from the Islamic oil producing countries.
On the other hand, there is an astonishing amount of terror
which is gripping the Muslim world.
